AGM - Thank you Note
Dear KEA
family,
We
were delighted to have seen you at the AGM held on Saturday (3rd
June 2023) evening at Hilton, Kuwait. On behalf of EC-25, we express our
sincere gratitude to all KEA members who attended the event, contributing to
its resounding success.
The
AGM officially commenced at 5:25 pm and proceeded as planned according to the
agenda. The general body reviewed and approved the annual report and accounts
for the year 2022-2023. After careful consideration, the proposed amendment to
the constitution was also approved with appropriate modifications. The new
Executive Committee for 2023-2024 was elected, with Mr. Riyaz Salim assuming
the role of the new president of KEA. We extend our warm congratulations to Mr.
Riyaz Salim and his team.
Following
the AGM, the remaining official programs took place in the Al-Dorra Ballroom of
Hilton. During this time, KEA's new website was launched, and EC-25 felicitated
the sponsors of KFL, winners of KRL, SMASH, Varavelpu, Tug of War, and Cricket.
Mr. Sudhir V Menon was honored for conducting the Financial Seminar.
Additionally, recognition was given to all the conveners, members of the
rajatotsav team, and outgoing KEF representatives for their valuable
contributions to the year's success.
Closing
the curtains to this remarkable year, EC-25 took center stage for the final
time as the outgoing General Secretary delivered the vote of thanks. The
outgoing EC then welcomed the incoming Executive committee.
Throughout
the event, Team ELANZA entertained the audience with melodious songs, filling
the ballroom with joyous melodies.
The
AGM of the 25th Executive Committee drew to a successful close with a sumptuous
dinner and compliments from EC-25 to all KEA members who registered for the
AGM. We, EC-25, believe that we have led KEA through a truly momentous year,
and we convey our heartfelt thanks to everyone for the overwhelming support
received during our term, as well as for the congratulatory calls and messages
that kept us motivated.
We are
thrilled to pass the mantle of KEA to such a vibrant and diverse team, and we
kindly request the entire KEA community to wholeheartedly support them.
